Prompt:
Money is the most valuable commodity in the world. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Personally, I am in accord with the statement i.e. money is indeed the most valuable commodity in the world. Although the allegory or movies always instill us with the tenets “money is a twin brother of evil”, I find money is essentially an important tool in life.
As money-minded and as realistic as it sounds, this world is indeed made up of money. Money makes things go around. Without money, one can hardly do anything. For instance, money is needed for one to dwindle the global poverty situation. Money is needed for a president to run its political campaigns. Money is needed for a country to make a reforms to its policy. And money is needed simply to have a proper meal. We live in a realistic world, which is fraught with trading agreement, and money is portrayed as a basic tool in keeping the system going.
One may argue that money is secondary in life as there are much more commodities or values that are more worthwhile to pursue than money itself. This standpoint is incontrovertibly valid, only under the premises that one is able to survive without having a single cent in hand. We all know that money is a necessity for survival. Just like the oxygen that we need for breathing, money is a token for us to trade for basic needs in life. Without money, one cannot even buy a donut to fill his stomach. Putting it in such scenario is absolutely crude and realistic, but money is essentially the gist of the world fair trading system.
In addition, with the aid of money, our desires are easier to be sated. Its existence allows a simplified trading system to take place. Instead of bringing goats and chickens to the market for an exchange of rice with tantalizing value, the existence of money replaces the tedious and complicated barter system. This simplified system allows us to buy and sell in a simple manner and thus saves lots of troubles and time in shopping for our desires. It makes our lives so much easier that we can get the things that we want so much easier. Thus, it is grounded to say that money is indeed the most valuable commodity in the world.
Although the adage presages, “money is the root of evil” and some reckons that money will make people to lose themselves, I personally computes that these consequences are not th, but rather the management of money itself. The outcome depends on how one deals with the money. It is important for us only to treat the money as a commodity to achieve our goals, instead of becoming the slaves of it. If we managed to master money, our happiness is down to the road. If not, money will turn out to be a dreadful bomb, which is too powerful to ruin one’s life when it detonates.
